Any substance taking up space is considered to be matter. This is an interesting statement. We are made up of matter. We eat matter. So why does certain matter nourish, and other matter poison?
(Please stay with me over the next few weeks as this tale of the farmers field unfolds into a wonderful lesson on Schuessler’s Cell Salts!)
My Dad used to say that corn knee high by the 4th of July will make it…it will ripen before first frost. A good farmer is one of the most intuitive of men. He knows how to read the weather, he knows when to plant and when to harvest. A good farmer understands the soil. Crops need food to grow, real food in order to become nutritious as the end product, our food!
Up until 50 yrs. ago all food was grown naturally. I say naturally because the soil was turned and cultivated, worked and fertilized with composted manure and spent straw. The soil was rich in nutrients. Earth worms were abundant to keep the soil rich and aerated.
Yes, there would be diseased corn or spindly wheat on occasion, due to insect invasion, too much rain, or some other weather related issue; which is where prayer came in abundance throughout the growing and harvest season. The farmer and his family, and all the towns people prayed for good crops to feed the local families and their animals. This basic acknowledgment of God, Creator and Care Taker, led to a natural chain of events that kept man in sync with his work, his God and his fellow man. Charity of heart and humble prayer, naturally kept the economy strong and healthy.
Matter of the human body. These are the solid elements that God used when He created man. So why am I telling you this story about crops? Over the next couple weeks, you’ll see the connection between the fields that our crops are grown in and how actual food can nourish our bodies or poison them.
The majority of crops would be harvested with a joyous and profitable end. The animals on the farm would have their winter’s fair and the farmer almost always had plenty of grain left to sell as a cash crop to keep all other aspects of the farm running smoothly. It was a cycle. A full cycle of cows and hogs eating, and the manure being composted, put back on the fields, the crops being planted, harvested, fed…etc.
Today our food is grown by specialized farmers,
mostly through no fault of their own. Man was quietly led down the media road of the local Ag economist; educated people led us to believe that there is no other way than to “go with the flow” of changing traditional farming practices. Government programs subtly instituted what seemed like good projects that turned the tables on the farmer, who suddenly found himself in a situation of, “there is no other way”, We can’t feed the world if we don’t do it this way…yes, even the farmers believed this, the most intuitive of men!
Farmers now use commercial fertilizer; nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. All naturally occurring elements of course but not from a composted source. Today most fertilizer comes from a manufactured source. A strong combination of elements so rich and powerful that it will actually burn the plant if exposed. This commercial fertilizer also burns the ground, making life for the little earthworm an eventual impossibility. Fresh manure from what the farmer calls “the pit” acts much the same way, because often it does not have the straw (for making bricks, so to speak) to aid in the composting process and often goes out onto the fields, hot and burning. (Composting breaks down the manure so that it becomes rich food for plants. It literally transforms back into a dark soil loaded with micro nutrients… food. Not the strong burning element of fresh manure. )……Then toxic sprays are used to kill the pests or fungus that eat or destroy plants. This new way of farming, this “new” cycle is not the most conducive to rich delicious, nutritious food, to say the least.
Our bodies are made of the same matter that is growing in a healthy field. We need this “real” food to stay healthy and strong. Without this deep nutrition, we will starve to death. It is that simple. So now that you have a basic understanding of where “real” food comes from, I thought we’d spend a bit of time and discuss the cell salts: The 12 Elements that make up the solid Matter of the human body. These are the solid elements that God used when He created man.
We use the Cell salts homeopathically to trigger the body into balancing itself, when stress or lack of sleep or some other factor knocks us out of balance, we use the cell salts to bring it back. But I cannot stress enough how important it is that the body gets the proper nutrition in the first place!
Eat Well! Feed your family Organic well rounded meals….Good Grass Fed Meat, Organic Fruits and Vegetables and make sure they are getting plenty, and I mean plenty of fun type exercise (working or playing) and sunshine!
You can use the Cell Salts in low potency to bring balance and health!
The first few Cell Salts I would like to tell you about are…
#1 Calcarea Fluorica (Fluoride of Lime)- Calc. Fluor. is found in enamel of bones and teeth, elastic fibers of the skin, connective tissue and in the blood vessels. It is used for bony tumors; sluggish circulation; cracks in the skin, loss of elasticity; rough, loose and sensitive teeth; delayed dentition; relaxation of tissues and blood vessels causing flabby flesh; varicose veins; hemorrhoids and displacements of organs.
#2 Calcarea Phosphorica (Phosphate of Lime)- Calc. Phos. is found in fertile soil, new blood cells, bone, gastric juices and dentin of teeth. It is used for growth problems; broken bones; cramps; spasms; numbness; cold feelings in the body and head; sluggish circulation; susceptibility to colds and mucous; spinal curvature; sore breasts; chronic tonsillitis; cracks in the skin and night sweats.
Real elements found in the soil, taken up by the plants that we either eat directly or that the animals graze upon. Organic June grass that the cows graze on produces the most nutritious milk and cream of the year. Free range chickens, sheep, goats and other animals are healthiest during this plentiful time of year. We reap the benefits of these delicious foods and our bodies can actually store many of these rich mineral nutrients for as long as a year! And of course, when the young animals are butchered in the fall that have been nourished on rich summer soil, we again, reap the benefits of deep nutrition for our bodies.
This is how God designed the natural process of food supply. We are supposed to eat some animal protein and this is best case scenario for healthy animal protein, and essential animal fats.
